Tijdens de roundtable sessie bespraken we hoe bedrijven grip kunnen krijgen op hun groei door data te verbinden en silo’s te doorbreken. De sessie vond plaats op een inspirerende locatie - namelijk het Louwman museum in Den Haag - waar experts uit de sector inzichten deelden over data-integratie, CRM-optimalisatie en marketingstrategieën. ## Data & integraties Een veelvoorkomende uitdaging binnen de maakindustrie is de afstemming tussen ERP- en CRM-systemen. Deelnemers discussieerden over welke informatie waar beheerd moet worden en hoe je de juiste inzichten verkrijgt. Data silo’s blijven een obstakel, en de vraag werd gesteld wie binnen een organisatie verantwoordelijk is voor het doorbreken hiervan. Verschillende bedrijven gaven aan dat zij dit binnen de businessafdeling houden, terwijl anderen investeren in multidisciplinaire teams om het probleem structureel op te lossen. Daarnaast werd de rol van middleware besproken als oplossing om systemen efficiënter te laten samenwerken. Er zijn organisaties die al middleware-oplossingen inzetten om data toegankelijk te maken voor sales en marketing, terwijl anderen nog werken aan directe koppelingen tussen CRM en ERP zonder tussenlagen. Ook kwam de koppeling tussen service & onderhoud en CRM aan bod, waarbij werd onderzocht hoe deze integratie kan bijdragen aan een efficiëntere klantbenadering en betere benutting van onderhoudscontracten. ![rt3](https://www.brightdigital.com/hs-fs/hubfs/rt3.jpeg?width=1913&height=832&name=rt3.jpeg) ## Marketing Internationale marketinguitdagingen spelen een grote rol in de maakindustrie. Het maken van de juiste keuzes tussen landen en doelgroepen is cruciaal om impact te maken. Een ander belangrijk thema was de inzet van smart content binnen marketingcampagnes en de vraag in hoeverre dit daadwerkelijk conversie verhoogt. Hoewel er nog geen harde cijfers zijn, werd erkend dat smart content goed werkt afhankelijk van de business en strategie. Een terugkerend pijnpunt was het up-to-date houden van CRM-data. Er werd besproken welke teams hier verantwoordelijkheid voor zouden moeten dragen en hoe dashboards en geautomatiseerde processen kunnen helpen om datakwaliteit te waarborgen. Daarnaast werd gewezen op het belang van periodieke controle, bijvoorbeeld via hygiëne dashboards of door sales en marketing samen te laten werken aan schone data. ## Dataverrijking & leadscoring Verschillende tools voor dataverrijking werden besproken, waarbij er uiteenlopende ervaringen zijn met platforms zoals Dealfront, HubSpot Breeze en D&B. Sommige tools bieden veel toegevoegde waarde, terwijl andere nog in ontwikkeling zijn of minder geschikt blijken voor specifieke behoeften. Leadscoring werd door sommige organisaties als zeer waardevol gezien, terwijl anderen aangaven dat ze al tevreden zijn als er überhaupt leads binnenkomen. Dit benadrukt dat leadscoring vooral zinvol is in markten waar veel leads gegenereerd worden en selectie nodig is. ## Conclusie De roundtable sessie maakte duidelijk dat data-integratie, marketing automation en CRM-optimalisatie essentiële onderwerpen blijven binnen de maakindustrie. Bedrijven zoeken naar manieren om hun klantdata efficiënter te benutten en marketingstrategieën beter af te stemmen op internationale markten.
