Wanneer je een lijst met interessante accounts hebt samengesteld ben je klaar voor de volgende stap: het verzamelen van relevante informatie over en voor deze accounts. Deze informatie heb je nodig om in een volgend stadium [content te produceren](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/bid/70506/5-Redenen-waarom-we-relevante-content-delen) die relevant is voor deze accounts. Hoe dit werkt beschrijf ik in een volgend artikel. In dit artikel eerst aandacht voor het verzamelen van cruciale informatie over en voor je geselecteerde accounts.** ## Verzamel zoveel mogelijk contactpersonen De eerste stap van je speurklus is het verzamelen van zoveel mogelijk contactpersonen die bij een account werkzaam zijn en waarvoor jouw producten en diensten interessant zijn. Er zijn drie manieren om contactpersonen te verzamelen: - handmatig; via bronnen zoals LinkedIn of Datanyze. - kopen; via bronnen zoals Netprospex, Salesforce Data.com of Zoominfo. - via predictive analysis; via bronnen zoals Leadspace, Everspring of Lattice. Maak vervolgens per account een matrix en vul de namen van de gevonden contactpersonen in geordend per functietitel/-gebied. ## Verzamel zoveel mogelijk informatie over je account De volgende stap is het vormen van een zo’n compleet mogelijk beeld van je accounts en hun “umfeld”. Dit kan door de volgende checklist per account in te vullen. Hoe ziet de markt waarin je account opereert eruit? - Breng in kaart welke trends en ontwikkelingen er in hun branche spelen - Wie zijn de concurrenten van je account - Welke zaken leiden tot groei en welke zaken houden groei tegen Beschrijf belangrijke kenmerken van de onderneming: - Is deze financieel gezond - Zijn er groeigebieden en cash-cows te identificeren - Wat zijn de sterkten en zwakten, kansen en bedreigingen - Ontplooiien ze bepaalde initiatieven - Zijn er andere triggers, zoals fusies, reorganisaties, belangrijke personele wijzigingen Beschrijf hoe de DMU (Decision Making Unit) eruit ziet: - Maak een organigram - Bekijk wie hoofdbeslissers zijn binnen de DMU Onderlinge relaties en connecties: - Beschrijf de belangrijkste contactpersonen - Hoe ze zich onderling verhouden - Of en welke relatie ze hebben met vertegenwoordigers van jouw onderneming Zoals je zult begrijpen kan account based marketing een stevige klus zijn. Zorg er dan ook voor dat je goed op prioriteiten let: spendeer de meeste tijd aan de belangrijkste accounts. Om aan bovenstaande informatie te komen zijn er vele bronnen die je kunt raadplegen. Enkele daarvan zijn: - Gesprekken van je collega’s of goede relaties met vertegenwoordigers van het account - Officiële bronnen, zoals jaarverslagen en de website - Blogartikelen van vertegenwoordigers van je account - Social media: let daarbij vooral op Twitter en LinkedIn - Content die ze op je website lezen Nadat je alle informatie van je meest belangrijke accounts verzameld hebt kun je starten met het schrijven van content die aansluit bij hun specifieke situatie.
