Dat is een onvoorstelbaar groot aantal, maar aan de andere kant ben ik niet verbaasd over de populariteit van Instagram. Als fervent gebruiker waardeer ik de app enorm en vind ik dat updates deze app alleen maar beter maken. Bijvoorbeeld de toevoeging van stories en de mogelijkheid om meldingen in te stellen voor je favoriete accounts waarvan je niets wil missen. Bovendien vormt Instagram zakelijk gezien een grote kans voor B2B ondernemers. Met name om nieuw personeel te werven zie ik veel mogelijkheden. Wat ik daarmee bedoel, leg ik je graag uit in dit blog. ** ## Instagram voor zakelijk gebruikers Een zakelijk Instagram account is een prima toevoeging aan je moderne B2B marketingstrategie. Natuurlijk vind je op Instagram veel consumentenmerken met visueel aantrekkelijke producten, maar ook als B2B merk kun je er je ei kwijt. Zelfs als jouw product niet eens op de foto kan, kun je [dit platform inzetten](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/hoe-gebruik-je-instagram-als-marketingtool). Denk aan foto’s die je maakt op en rond de werkplek, bij klanten en tijdens activiteiten en evenementen. Maar deel ook zelfgemaakte animaties of gifjes. ## Geen directe verkoop, wel branding Beschouw Instagram niet als direct verkoopkanaal, maar zet het in als branding tool. Zorg dat jouw posts de sfeer in jouw bedrijf weergeven, zet hiermee jouw merk op de kaart en kom in contact met potentiële collega’s. De visuele insteek maakt Instagram zo interessant voor [het werven van nieuw personeel](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/de-juiste-kandidaten-aantrekken-met-inbound-recruitment). Met jouw publicaties geef je potentiële werknemers alvast een kijkje in de keuken van jouw bedrijf. Een aantal handige functionaliteiten helpen je hierbij.  ## Interessante functionaliteiten voor recruitment Instagram gaat inmiddels verder dan het posten en liken van foto’s. Allerlei nieuwe functies geven jou en jouw volgers de mogelijkheden makkelijk nieuwe merken te ontdekken en te zien wat er op bepaalde locaties gebeurt. [HubSpot heeft in september](https://blog.hubspot.com/customers/facebook-ads-integration) zelfs het monitoren van jouw Instagram leadgeneratie campagnes aan haar marketing automation mogelijkheden toegevoegd. Handig om je via Instagram gegenereerde nieuwe leads in een overzichtelijk lijstje terug te vinden. Hieronder noem ik wat functionaliteiten die je helpen bij online recruitment:  ### Apart recruitment account en slimme hashtags Om jouw bedrijf bekend te maken onder potentiële kandidaten, kun je een speciaal ‘werken bij’ account oprichten. Daarmee deel je content die specifiek op het werven van nieuwe collega’s gericht is. Zoek interessante hashtags waarmee je jouw posts onder de aandacht van jouw doelgroep kunt brengen. Voorbeelden van dit soort Instagram accounts zijn [werkenbijING](https://www.instagram.com/werkenbijing/) en [werkenbijBAM](https://www.instagram.com/werkenbijbam/).  ### Voeg een locatie toe Op Instagram ben je vindbaar via de interne zoekmachine die resultaten toont op de overzichtspagina en in de categorieën ‘Top’, ‘Personen’, ‘Tags’ en ‘Plaatsen’. Als een gebruiker wil weten wat er in zijn buurt gebeurt, kan hij op de overzichtspagina zien welke accounts in de buurt nieuwe content hebben geplaatst. Zo ziet hij alle openbare posts die op dat moment op zijn locatie zijn toegevoegd (mits hij het delen van zijn locatiegegevens toestaat). Zorg daarom dat de content die jij plaatst openbaar is en tevens een locatie aangeeft, bijvoorbeeld de stad Utrecht als je daar gevestigd bent.  ### Zet Stories in Instagram stories zijn tijdelijke updates die 24 uur zichtbaar blijven via jouw profiel. Dat kunnen foto’s en (live) video’s zijn of content die je ter plekke uploadt, zoals animatievideo’s en andere van te voren bewerkte content. Stories helpen je om een nog betere sfeerimpressie te geven en bieden je volgers een gevoel van exclusiviteit. Alleen zij die op tijd keken, hebben jouw story namelijk gezien. Ik adviseer je wel om je account eerst goed in te richten en te vullen met meerdere posts, want niemand volgt een leeg Instagram account. Bovendien geeft het je doelgroep geen goede indruk van jouw bedrijf. Als je jouw advertenties wil richten op potentiële werknemers, zijn de volgende opties interessant:  ### Een volgerscampagne Deze advertentiecampagne helpt om een groter volgersbestand te creëren. Zorg voor een aantrekkelijke beschrijving op je profiel (de ‘bio’) en een link die verwijst naar de ‘werken bij’ omgeving van je website.  ### Sponsored updates om je merkbekendheid te vergroten Als je niet direct volgers wil werven, maar wel je merk onder de aandacht van potentiële werknemers wil brengen of wil verwijzen naar een webpagina, ga dan voor een sponsored update. Dit kan een foto post zijn, al dan niet in carrouselvorm (meerdere foto’s in één post), of een video post. Het is bij deze advertentievorm heel belangrijk om content te gebruiken die past bij jouw merk en de juiste uitstraling heeft.  ### Adverteer met stories Je kunt via Instagram niet alleen stories plaatsen op jouw profiel, maar je kunt ook een story als advertentie inzetten. Dan verschijnt jouw advertentie tussen de stories die de gebruiker aan het bekijken is. Deze story bevat eventueel een link naar jouw website.
