Klanten verwachten steeds meer, terwijl de marges onder druk staan. Een slim CRM-systeem helpt je om grip te houden én te groeien. Maar welk CRM-systeem past bij jouw productiebedrijf?**** ** ## Waarom een modern CRM onmisbaar is voor productiebedrijven? Veel productiebedrijven gebruiken nog geen modern CRM-systeem. In plaats daarvan vertrouwen ze op de ingebouwde CRM-functionaliteit van hun ERP- of boekhoudpakket, zoals Exact. Daarmee kun je prima contactpersonen vastleggen en een order koppelen, maar daar houdt het vaak op. Wat op het eerste gezicht ‘goed genoeg’ lijkt, blijkt in de praktijk een gemiste kans. ERP-CRM’s zijn gebouwd voor administratie, niet voor klantgroei. Ze missen slimme functies zoals AI-voorspellingen, flexibele workflows of realtime dashboards die je commerciële slagkracht vergroten. Een modern CRM-systeem doet veel meer. Het bundelt klantdata op één plek, helpt je salesproces vooruit en ondersteunt de serviceafdeling. Denk aan een 360°-klantbeeld, no-code automatiseringen, koppelingen met shop-floor- of IoT-data en slimme signalen over upsellkansen of risico op klantverloop. Precies wat je nodig hebt om commercieel te blijven groeien in een concurrerende markt. ## Waar moet je op letten bij het kiezen van een CRM-systeem? Niet elk CRM-systeem is gebouwd voor de dynamiek van de maakindustrie. Let daarom op deze essentiële criteria: 1. Integratie met ERP-systemen Het CRM-systeem moet goed samenwerken met je bestaande ERP-software. Zo kun je makkelijk klantorders, productie- en logistieke gegevens uitwisselen. Zo krijg je realtime inzicht in orders, voorraden en leverstatussen, zonder dat je steeds moet schakelen tussen meerdere platformen. 2. Order- en offertebeheer Een goed CRM-systeem ondersteunt het maken, volgen en beheren van offertes en orders. Denk aan automatische herinneringen, het aanpassen van prijzen en het monitoren van leveringsvoorwaarden. Zo blijf je altijd op de hoogte van de status van je klantprojecten. 3. Klant- en accountbeheer Uitgebreide klantprofielen en een duidelijke klanthistorie zijn cruciaal. Zo kunnen accountmanagers beter inspelen op klantbehoeften en relaties versterken. Mobiele toegang tot het CRM-systeem is daarbij een must voor medewerkers die vaak onderweg zijn.  4. Service en ondersteuning Voor productiebedrijven is het belangrijk dat het CRM-systeem ook after-sales service ondersteunt. Denk aan het volgen van serviceverzoeken, klachten en onderhoudsbehoeften. 5. Data-analyse en rapportage Om slimme beslissingen te kunnen maken, moet je prestaties kunnen meten. Een goed CRM-systeem biedt uitgebreide rapportages en analytische tools. Zo kun je trends spotten en sneller inspelen op veranderende marktvraag. 6. Internationale mogelijkheden Veel maakbedrijven werken internationaal. Kies daarom voor een CRM-systeem dat meerdere talen en valuta ondersteunt en geschikt is voor verschillende verkoopkanalen. 7. Gebruiksvriendelijkheid (UI/UX) Een intuïtieve interface en eenvoudige workflows zijn essentieel. Als het CRM te complex is, haakt je team af. En dat kost je conversie én tijd. ## Bekende CRM-systemen in de maakindustrie Er zijn talloze CRM-oplossingen beschikbaar, maar niet elk systeem is even geschikt voor productiebedrijven. Daarom zetten we een aantal veelgebruikte CRM-platformen op een rij die vaak worden ingezet door maakbedrijven vanwege hun focus op schaalbaarheid, ERP-integratie en sectorgerichte functies. Hieronder bespreken we per systeem de voor- en nadelen, zodat je een beter gevoel krijgt bij wat past bij jouw organisatie: 1. HubSpot HubSpot blinkt uit in gebruiksvriendelijkheid; met de intuïtieve interface ben je zonder technische kennis zo onderweg. Het platform levert krachtige automatiseringen voor marketing, sales en service en koppelt moeiteloos met ERP systemen via de marketplace. Dankzij de uitgebreide API documentatie verbind je HubSpot net zo makkelijk met eigen apps en legacy software zodat je niet vastzit aan standaard koppelingen. Voeg daar custom objects aan toe en je modelleert specifieke processen zoals machines of contracten zonder code en zonder dure consultants. De rapportages zijn realtime en inzichtelijk waardoor je direct kunt bijsturen. Sommige geavanceerde functies zitten in de hogere licenties, maar juist door de schaalbaarheid en flexibiliteit blijft HubSpot voor groeiende productiebedrijven de slimme keuze. 2. Salesforce Salesforce is een zwaargewicht in de CRM-markt. Het systeem is bijzonder krachtig en volledig aan te passen aan je wensen. Vooral voor grote, complexe productiebedrijven kan dit een voordeel zijn. Tegelijkertijd is dat ook direct de uitdaging: het is duur, complex in gebruik en vereist vaak externe consultants voor een goede implementatie. Daardoor kan de adoptie traag verlopen. Kies Salesforce als je weet dat je veel maatwerk nodig hebt én daar tijd en budget voor hebt. 3. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Werk je al met Microsoft-producten? Dan ligt Dynamics 365 voor de hand. Het systeem integreert soepel met Outlook, Teams en Power BI. Het biedt daarnaast sterke koppelingen met ERP-functionaliteiten. De keerzijde is dat het minder intuïtief is in gebruik dan bijvoorbeeld HubSpot, en dat implementaties vaak langer duren. Dynamics is een goede optie voor wie al diep in het Microsoft-ecosysteem zit. 4. Exact Exact is van oorsprong een boekhoudsoftware en dat merk je. De ERP-functies zijn sterk, vooral voor MKB-bedrijven. De CRM-module doet wat het moet doen, maar is beperkt in flexibiliteit en automatisering. Wil je CRM en boekhouding combineren in één systeem zonder al te veel toeters en bellen? Dan is Exact een degelijke keuze. Maar als je meer verwacht van je CRM. Zoals slimme automatiseringen, gebruiksgemak en groei richting klantgerichte marketing, dan is een platform als HubSpot een logischere keuze. 5. Zoho CRM Zoho is aantrekkelijk vanwege de prijs. Je krijgt veel functionaliteit voor relatief weinig geld. Denk aan automatiseringen, dashboards en integraties met andere Zoho-apps. Voor kleinere productiebedrijven zonder complexe ERP-koppelingen is dit een slimme keuze. Maar let op: de interface is minder strak dan die van HubSpot en het systeem groeit minder goed mee bij internationale ambities. 6. Teamleader Voor maakbedrijven die veel met klantprojecten werken, is Teamleader interessant. Het combineert CRM met projectmanagement en facturatie in één tool. De eenvoud is een pluspunt, maar ook hier geldt: zodra je processen complexer worden, loop je tegen grenzen aan. Een CRM-systeem raakt meerdere afdelingen: sales gebruikt het voor klantopvolging, marketing voor lead nurturing, productie voor orderstatussen, (customer) service voor supporttickets  en IT voor integratie en beheer. Betrek deze teams vroeg in het proces, zodat je geen belangrijke wensen over het hoofd ziet én meer draagvlak creëert. 2. **Kies toekomstbestendig:** je CRM moet mee kunnen groeien. Je wilt niet elk jaar overstappen op een nieuw systeem. Kies daarom een CRM dat schaalbaar is en op termijn uitgebreid kan worden met extra functionaliteiten, zoals marketing automation, supportmodules of partnerportalen. 3. **Check integraties:** met ERP, tools en je website. Een CRM moet niet op zichzelf staan. Controleer of het eenvoudig koppelt met je ERP-systeem, boekhouding, e-mail, website en andere tools. Goede integraties besparen tijd, voorkomen fouten en zorgen voor een completer klantbeeld. 4. **Zorg voor veiligheid:** zeker bij gevoelige klantdata. Klantgegevens zijn waardevol én gevoelig. Zeker als je werkt met grote accounts of internationale partners.
