New at HubSpot: the credit system for AI functionalities. What does this mean for you?

Since June 2025, HubSpot has been working with a new credit system for AI functionalities. This gives you more control over the use of powerful AI tools such as automated data enrichment, better insights and the new Customer Agent. But what does this mean specifically for your organization?

What is the credit system?

Instead of fixed monthly fees, you will receive a number of credits each month that you can use for specific AI functions. This flexibility helps you pay for exactly what you need. If you need more, you can purchase additional ones: it's up to you.

How it works.

Each month, depending on your license, you get a number of credits that you can deploy to use AI services within HubSpot.

These services are:

  1. Breeze Intelligence

Breeze Intelligence automatically enriches your contact and company data with valuable information, such as company size, location, social profiles and more. This makes your marketing and sales much more effective. Moreover, a richer database also allows you to make better matches with companies that are not yet customers, but could be of interest to you.
Cost: 10 credits per enriched record.

  1. Customer Agent

    The Customer Agent is an AI assistant that automatically answers customer questions via live chat or other channels. It learns from conversations and can even refer to knowledge base articles. Perfect for customer service outside office hours.
    Cost: 100 credits per conversation. (Until August 4, 2025, Customer Agent is free touse.)

  2. Buyer intent
    Buyer intent allows you to use AI to identify and add to HubSpot the visitors on your website who match your target market when you think they're interesting, based on buying signals you configure. When companies visit certain pages, fall into your target market and show interest in your products and are not yet in your CRM, HubSpot highlights them additionally.
    Cost: 10 credits per record added

  3. Smart properties

    Smart properties are special CRM fields that are filled based on'Data Enrichment'. You specify what type of property you need (text, dropdown, number, etc), based on which source within HubSpot it should be enriched, a prompt and the filling of the property is done by AI. For example, based on a domain name, you can have the market or services a company sells automatically populated by AI, and in turn use this in your reports, lists or workflows.
    Cost: 10 credits per enriched record

How do you keep track of your usage?

You can easily track the usage of your credits via Account & Billing > Usage & Limits in your HubSpot account. Are you running low on credits? Then you can easily purchase additional bundles.

What if you run out of credits?

No worries, you can purchase additional credits whenever needed. That way, you're always flexible and can continue to take advantage of HubSpot's AI tools.
