HubSpot is constantly evolving, with major and minor updates daily to improve the platform. These innovations are based on valuable customer feedback and make your user experience even easier and better. Every month, Bright keeps you updated on the latest HubSpot updates. Here are April's most important updates!
Update 1 (Featured): Name objects in HubSpot however you want.
You can now decide what standard objects are called in HubSpot. For example: do you prefer to call "deals" "opportunities"? Then simply change this in the settings by navigating to Object Library and changing the name in the details of an object. From then on, you'll see your terms reflected in almost all tools within HubSpot.
Why is this useful?
This is especially helpful for teams that are already used to their own terminology. Say your sales department has been working with the term "inquiries" instead of "deals" for years, you can now implement this directly in HubSpot. That makes the transition just a little smoother and more recognizable for your team.

Update 2: New dashboard shows how fast your website is
Your website may look fast on paper, but how do your visitors really experience it? With the new Site Speed Dashboard you now get insight into that. The dashboard shows which pages load slowly, how your site performs on different devices and whether your performance is improving or deteriorating.
Why is this important?
Say you notice that the mobile version of your homepage is structurally slow. The Site Speed Dashboard shows this clearly and indicates where you can optimize. In this way, you can work in a targeted way on better loading times and a smoother experience for your visitors.

Update 3: Better structured data without extra work
From now on, you can have data formatted automatically as soon as it enters your CRM. This prevents typos and unnecessary clutter in your database. For example, set that only numbers are allowed when entering a zip code. If someone accidentally enters "1234AB," it will be automatically converted to "1234." This is also very useful for manual entries or imports.
How do you apply this?
You can get started with this by navigating in HubSpot to Objects> Settings> Properties> Edit property> Rules, selecting which characters are allowed and turning on the automatic correction.

Update 4: Quickly setting up a campaign with AI
Setting up a campaign usually requires a lot of manual work, especially if you need to copy information from several documents. With the new AI feature in Breeze, you can simply upload a short description or document and the tool will automatically create key campaign details such as the name, target, audience and budget.
Why is this useful?
Say you already have a draft plan for your campaign in a document. Instead of manually re-entering all the details into HubSpot, all you have to do is upload the document. Breeze's AI Agent reads the file, extracts the most important information and automatically generates the basic elements of your campaign: such as the name, goal, target audience and budget. This not only saves you time, but also ensures that you immediately have a good starting point. This way you can immediately proceed with refining the message and strategy, without having to start the process all over again.

Update 5: Start workflows from your CRM card
It is now possible to place records into a workflow directly from the CRM card. That means you no longer have to go through separate steps or menus to add someone to a process. You do this directly from the contact, company or deal record you are already working in.
Why is this important?
This update makes it easier to take the right follow-up step at the right time. Think of automatically sending follow-up emails, creating tasks or assigning a colleague.
How this works exactly and what you can do with this update, our colleague Ruben explains in the video.

Update 6: Automatically generate articles for your knowledge base
With the new Breeze Knowledge Base Agent, you can now automatically generate drafts for articles based on the questions customers ask and support tickets that come in. The agent analyzes these interactions and suggests an initial version of an article based on them. You then only need to check the content, make adjustments where necessary and publish the article.
Why is this useful?
When a lot of repetitive questions come in about a particular topic, it is tedious to come up with an appropriate answer every time. For example, you receive many questions about a specific product feature. The agent automatically creates a draft article about it, based on the customer questions you receive. Now you can quickly and efficiently provide new, relevant content about this product feature, thus capturing many repetitive questions.
