In mijn laatste artikel heb ik dan ook [Growth Driven Design](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/hoe-bouw-je-een-moderne-b2b-marketing-website) (GDD) geintroduceerd: de nieuwe aanpak voor het bouwen en voortdurend verbeteren van een moderne b2b website. De [drie principes van GDD](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/wat-is-growth-driven-design-principes) heb ik in mijn laatste blogartikel beschreven. In dit artikel sta ik uitgebreider stil bij de eerste stap van Growth Driven Design: de Strategie-fase. In de eerste fase van Growth Driven Design kom je tot een eenduidige strategie aan de hand van de volgende onderdelen: ## Doelen Wat zijn de doelen die je met je website wilt bereiken en hoe staan deze in verhouding met je bedrijfsdoelstellingen? Verzamel deze bij de belangrijke stakeholders binnen je onderneming. Het is belangrijk dat je je doelen SMART formuleert:  - **S**pecifiek - *Is de doelstelling eenduidig? * - **M**eetbaar - *Onder welke (meetbare/observeerbare) voorwaarden of vorm is het doel bereikt?* - **A**cceptabel - *Is deze acceptabel voor de doelgroep en/of het management?* - **R**ealistisch - *Is het doel haalbaar?* - **T**ijdsgebonden - *Wanneer (in tijd) moet het doel bereikt zijn?* Een SMART doel voor je website zou kunnen zijn: "we willen vóór december 2017 vijftig nieuwe Marketing Qualified Leads per maand binnenhalen via organisch zoekverkeer". ## Ideale klantprofielen In dit onderdeel bepaal je de profielen van klanten waarmee je het liefst zaken doet: je ideale klantprofielen. In het kader van een GDD-traject is het wenselijk om in eerste instantie maximaal drie klantprofielen te kiezen. Een handig middel dat je kan helpen met het bepalen van ideale klantprofielen is een 'Empathy map': ![Empathy-Map-No-Stickies.png](https://www.brightdigital.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Empathy-Map-No-Stickies.png?width=584&height=438&name=Empathy-Map-No-Stickies.png)  Houd bij het bepalen van je klantprofielen ook rekening met wensen ten aanzien van website-gebruik. Zo is het bijvoorbeeld handig om te weten op welke manier je ideale klant informatie wil ontvangen (denk aan beeld, tekst etc.).  ## Fundamentele uitgangspunten Nu je je doelen hebt geformuleerd en inzicht hebt verkregen in je belangrijkste ideale klantprofielen, is het van belang dat je de kern van je onderneming terugbrengt tot de essentie en dit inzicht koppelt aan de nieuwe website.  Het GDD-canvas helpt je met het opstellen van je fundamentele uitgangspunten per klantprofiel: ![Growth_Driven_Design_Canvas.png](https://www.brightdigital.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Growth_Driven_Design_Canvas.png?width=793&height=448&name=Growth_Driven_Design_Canvas.png) ## User Journey Map In dit onderdeel ga je aan de slag met het inrichten van 'User journey maps'. Hierin stel je een 'holistisch' beeld samen van de zakelijke werkelijkheid van je klant voor, tijdens en na het contact met je onderneming. De onderstaande afbeelding geeft weer hoe zo'n journey map eruit ziet: ![Growth_Driven_Design_Journey_Map.png](https://www.brightdigital.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/Growth_Driven_Design_Journey_Map.png?width=793&height=424&name=Growth_Driven_Design_Journey_Map.png) ## Onderzoek Nu je weet welke ideale klantprofielen je wilt bedienen en wat jouw website in verschillende fasen van de koopreis van je ideale klant moet bewerkstelligen, is het verstandig om te onderzoeken hoe de huidige website functioneert in dit geheel. Hiervoor heb je drie onderzoeksmethoden: - Kwalitatief: hoe beoordelen huidige website-gebruikers jouw website? (via een interview of enquête). - Observeren: op welke wijze gebruiken bezoekers jullie website? (heatmaps, scrollmaps). - kwantitatief: hoe zien de huidige website statistieken eruit? (website bezoeken, meest bezochte pagina's). Door deze bevindingen op een rijtje te zetten en deze af te zetten tegen de 'ideale' situatie, krijg je goed inzicht in de te ondernemen acties.  ## Verlanglijst opstellen Aan de hand van alle verworven inzichten uit bovenstaande onderdelen, is het nu zaak om een verlanglijst op te stellen van 'must-haves' en 'nice-to-haves'.  Met behulp van de 'must-haves' kun je naar de volgende stap van het Growth Driven Design proces: [de Launchpad Website](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/growth-driven-design-stap-2-launch-pad-website).  Wil je meer weten over Inbound Marketing?
