Zelf werk ik al jarenlang in de IT sector om maar eens een voorbeeld te noemen. Daar werken specialisten, consultants, managers die hun klanten voorzien van advies en implementatie. Een enorme bulk aan informatie en ervaring die dagelijks rondloopt.** Als marketeer sta je voor de uitdaging hoe je de onderneming met al deze kennis zo effectief mogelijk onder de aandacht brengt bij je doelgroep. [Content marketing](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/kenniscentrum/content-marketing) is dan een discipline die gebruikt wordt om nieuwe klanten te interesseren, te overtuigen en te bedienen. Marketeers gaan aan de slag om deze content te produceren. Toch moet je hierbij niet alleen marketeers betrekken maar juist ook de specialisten, consultants, product managers, customer service medewerkers en overige experts. Per slot van rekening behandelen en creëren zij elke dag relevante content zoals presentaties, documenten, klant verzoeken, ideeën etc. Zij zijn de beste ambassadeurs en zij kunnen het meeste bijdragen in een content marketing en social media marketing strategie. ## Hoe betrek je deze collega's bij je content marketing strategie en social media marketing? Het is essentieel om binnen de organisatie collega's en experts te vinden die een rol willen spelen in content marketing. Ze hebben allemaal een oor, oog en stem die direct met de klant en doelgroep in verbinding staat. Ook al schrijven ze niet allemaal een blog of maken ze prachtige presentaties het is essentieel ze te betrekken omdat zij de doelgroep van je bedrijf kennen als geen ander. ## Een paar punten van aandacht: - **Buy-in van collega's**: Leg je collega's uit hoe hun expertise, kennis en informatie kan worden omgezet in relevante content voor specifieke doelgroepen en nog belangrijker leg ze uit wat het belang is in dit digitale tijdperk. Je hebt hun buy-in nodig. - **Training content marketing**: Train ze in de basis principes van content marketing en social media. Wat zijn de voordelen van het verspreiden van kennis, wat is het voordeel voor henzelf, de organisatie en de klanten. Het gaat er toch om dat de organisatie en deze collega's als 'thought leaders' oftewel autoriteit bekend staan. [Thought leadership](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/kenniscentrum/thought-leadership) gaat uit van de inhoudelijke kennis, binnen de organisatie op een specifiek vakgebied. Bekend staan als autoriteit werkt overtuigend in elke (nieuwe) klant relatie. - **Tools voor content marketing**: Verschaf je collega's een plaats en de tools waar ze content met elkaar kunnen delen en makkelijk kunnen vinden. Het gaat er dus om dat je content marketing team weet welke info waar te vinden is en waar ze moeten zijn. Het gaat er ook om hoe ze blogs kunnen schrijven die op basis van zoekwoorden gevonden worden. Want hoe meer kwalitatief goede blog post er zijn gepubliceerd hoe beter vindbaar je als organisatie bent, hoe meer volgers je kunt interesseren. Deze volgers kun je online verleiden om whitepapers en ander content te downloaden. Dit is de basis voor het binnen halen van nieuwe klanten en inspireren van bestaande klanten. - **Groeipad**: Het is geen *must* om iedereen in een 'online social content marketing expert' om te toveren. Zou overigens wel mooi zijn, want dit doen zij dagelijks als het goed is. Zij moeten gewoon hun werk kunnen doen en uren maken. Maar hun werk kan er zeker beter door worden doordat ze leren hoe je waarde toevoegd online, een 'social voice' te worden voor de organisatie en online kennis te delen waar klanten op reageren. Collega's betrekken in het content marketing proces is een zaak van training, uitleg, betrekken, enthousiasmeren, valideren, bijsturen en je doelen in de gaten houden. - **Keuze voor collega's**: Geef je collega's de keuze in welke mate ze willen bijdragen. Het kan zijn dat de ene persoon graag alleen slides wil maken over een proces terwijl de ander graag wil deelnemen in LinkedIn Groepen, content wil delen via bloggen of vragen beantwoorden via Twitter. Bekijk goed waar je collega's zich prettig bij voelen en hoe ze zich hierin ontwikkelen. Het is echt een team effort. Het doel van content marketing is niet om zoveel mogelijk content te produceren, hoewel dit wel helpt, maar om kwalitatief goede content te produceren. Er is geen een onderneming die alle content, ideeën, gedachten, plaatjes, onderzoeken voor alles gebruikt. Maak dus keuzes op basis van je doelgroep. Inventariseer de onderwerpen waarvoor je content wilt maken, stel een kalender samen voor het publiceren van content en bepaal de keywords waarbinnen je gevonden wilt worden. Breng dit in lijn met je overige marketing activiteiten. Het gaat erom gevonden te worden en als autoriteit bekend te staan. Content helpt daarbij. Content moet je doelgroep betrekken en overtuigen. Maak dus gebruik van collega's die content kunnen produceren waar je doelgroep op zit te wachten en haal op deze manier je gestelde business en marketing doelen op een overtuigende manier.
