Maar er zijn verschillende redenen voor en een belangrijke reden is eenvoudigweg: om meer verkeer naar je website te trekken en dus meer leads te genereren. En wie wil dat nou niet?! Mensen beginnen hun zoektocht naar informatie steeds vaker eerst online als ze ergens meer over willen weten. Hoe tof is het als ze dan op jouw website stuiten, omdat jij op de eerste pagina van de zoekresultaten staat en omdat in jouw blog de informatie te vinden is die ze zoeken?** ## Maak jezelf vindbaar voor bezoekers Elke keer als je een blog online zet, is dat weer een nieuwe kans voor iemand om jouw als persoon of bedrijf te ontdekken. Zoekmachines zoals Google zien dat je site actief is en checken wat voor nieuwe informatie je hebt toegevoegd. Met elke blogpost krijgt je website er weer een extra pagina bij. En dit zijn allemaal kansen voor zoekmachines om jou te vinden en dus verkeer naar je website te leiden. Onderzoek van [HubSpot](http://blog.hubspot.com/blog/tabid/6307/bid/5014/Study-Shows-Business-Blogging-Leads-to-55-More-Website-Visitors.aspx) laat zien dat bloggen zorgt voor 55% meer bezoekers naar je site. ## Nu nog de juiste bezoekers aantrekken Superleuk, al die bezoekers. Maar je wilt ook graag het juiste verkeer aantrekken. Als je een advocatenkantoor runt, heb je weinig aan een bezoeker die op zoek is naar een architectenbureau of een bouwbedrijf. Bloggen helpt je hierbij. Je schrijft namelijk over bepaalde onderwerpen waarvan je weet dat het de juiste bezoekers aantrekt. Als je een advocatenkantoor hebt, ga je natuurlijk niet over de nieuwste ontwikkelingen in de bouw bloggen, maar over allerlei onderwerpen rondom wet- en regelgeving. Daardoor trek je alleen de mensen aan die daarin geïnteresseerd zijn. Van deze bezoekers is het ook waarschijnlijk dat ze een bepaald product of bepaalde dienst bij je kopen. ## Begin een betrouwbare relatie met je klant Hoe vaker je blogt, hoe meer je kunt laten zien dat je over kennis en expertise bezit over een bepaald onderwerp. Mensen kopen liever producten of diensten van mensen die ze vertrouwen en kennen. Zeg nou zelf, je koopt toch ook liever een product van iemand die je goed advies geeft en betrouwbaar overkomt? ## Maar hoe verhoog je de conversie? Als 100 mensen je blog lezen, zijn dat 100 kansen om deze lezers te verleiden en in leads to converteren. Ben je al overtuigd dat je ook moet gaan bloggen? Probeer het gewoon eens en je merkt vanzelf wat het je oplevert. Een blog schrijven kost je als expert als het goed is niet heel veel tijd, maar doet ook z’n werk als je slaapt, even een boodschap doet, of op vakantie gaat.
