Halligan startte HubSpot in 2006 samen met co-founder [Dharmesh Shah](https://www.hubspot.com/company/management/dharmesh-shah/) en ondersteunt inmiddels meer dan 8000 ondernemingen wereldwijd met het uitvoeren van Inbound Marketing.** ## Wat is Inbound Marketing? [Inbound Marketing](https://www.brightdigital.com/onze-diensten/inbound-marketing) is een proces, waarbij je ernaar streeft om: - meer interessante webbezoekers naar je website te leiden - een groter gedeelte van deze bezoekers te converteren naar leads - een grotere gedeelte van je leads tot klant te maken - ieder onderdeel van je strategie te meten en analyseren om het proces te verbeteren Door het online delen van relevante content zul je als onderneming stukken beter gevonden worden door bezoekers, die op zoek zijn naar oplossingen voor hun zakelijke problemen. In tegenstelling tot andere marketing- en advertentie-uitgaven is Inbound Marketing een investering, die blijvende resultaten oplevert. Aangezien je Inbound Marketing elementen als blogartikelen en [landingspagina’s](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/haal-meer-conversie-landingspagina) inzet, vergroot je: - de vindbaarheid in zoekmachines, - het aantal relevante social media volgers en - het aantal inkomende links. Na verloop van een aantal maanden, zal dit ertoe leiden, dat je meer relevant webverkeer zult zien en interessante leads gaat genereren. Let op: Inbound Marketing heeft tijd nodig en je moet volhardend zijn. Vergelijk het met een fitness-programma: Je zult succesvol zijn wanneer je blijft werken aan je strategie.
