Alleen de allernieuwste, meest prikkelende berichten dringen nog door tot de overvraagde hersens van onze klanten. “Wees origineel”, is het mantra van menig marketingbureau. Persoonlijk kan ik hier nooit zoveel mee. Want origineel willen zijn is niet moeilijk; het daadwerkelijk zijn is bijna onmogelijk. Daarom ga ik in deze blog in op de aanpak van Bright Digital. Gewoon, onze eigen, down-to-earth blik op de beste manier om social media zakelijk in te zetten. Lees verder! ** ## Social media: waarom ook alweer? Ik denk dat de rol van social media alleen nog maar groter wordt in het bedrijfsleven. Klanten hebben steeds meer behoefte aan interactie en willen binnen enkele minuten te woord gestaan worden. Met social media kan dat. Daar komt bij dat berichten delen op social media aangeeft dat je 'bij bent' op je vakgebied. Je weet wat er speelt, leest en deelt relevante content én je bent [zichtbaar](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/online-marketing/pagina-meteen-zichtbaar-google-zo). Klanten zullen je daardoor sneller als een betrouwbare partner zien. Denk eraan dat mensen vroeger familie en vrienden raadpleegden, maar nu het hele internet afzoeken naar informatie. Als jij steeds opduikt als dé [kennisleider](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/kennisleiderschap-opbouwen-zo-begin-je), werkt dat in je voordeel. ## Consistentie met mate Als ik iets zeker weet, is het dat social media alleen werkt als je het consistent inzet. Dat wil zeggen: regelmatig tweeten en berichten posten, reageren op berichten van anderen en geregeld nieuwe blogs publiceren. Ook is het belangrijk dat je social mediakanalen niet gebruikt als platform om je diensten aan te prijzen, maar juist om te laten zien dat je kennis van zaken hebt. Eén tweet versturen over dat nieuwe product gaat je niet helpen, en heeft misschien zelfs een negatief effect. Het andere uiterste is overkill. Er zijn bedrijven die het internet volschieten met content en hashtags, met het doel zoveel mogelijk informatie te verspreiden. Zij vergeten dat interactie een wisselwerking is tussen twee partijen in plaats van de monoloog van één. Het is dus de kunst om consistent te zijn, en in die consistentie maat te houden. Een goede richtlijn hierbij is de 10-4-1 regel. ## De prikkelfactor Bij Bright Digital zijn we het erover eens dat je een combinatie moet hebben van goede content en techniek. Een sterke [social mediastrategie](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/social-media-stijlgids-onmisbaar-onderdeel-van-jouw-social-media-plan) is weinig waard zonder een goed blog of andere relevante content. Andersom geldt hetzelfde: als je een goed blog niet op de juiste manier promoot in de vorm van bijvoorbeeld een tweet, zal je weinig lezers trekken. En wat een goed blog is? Vertel jij het maar! Tot nu toe is er geen standaard formule voor goede content. Dat wil natuurlijk niet zeggen dat er geen richtlijnen zijn. Persoonlijk denk ik dat goede blogs lekker leesbaar zijn, iets nieuws vertellen, prikkelen en misschien zelfs wat verwarring veroorzaken. En als het even kan, blijft de boodschap hangen bij de lezer, en activeert deze hem om zelf aan de slag te gaan.   ## Alle tips op een rij Zelf word ik altijd blij van lijstjes en [infographics](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/infographics-drie-voordelen-op-een-rij) in blogposts. Niets is zo handig als een opsomming van alles wat je móet onthouden. Helemaal als je weinig tijd hebt, of zo druk bezig bent dat je je niet kan concentreren op grote brokken tekst. Daarom hieronder alles wat je moet onthouden uit deze blog over social mediagebruik: - wees consistent - voorkom overkill - combineer goede content met techniek - check je content op relevantie, leesbaarheid en de prikkelfactor Veel succes!
