In mijn laatste twee artikelen schreef ik welke acties je onderneemt in de eerste fase van een GDD traject, de [strategiefase](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/growth-driven-design-stap-1-strategie) en hoe je in de tweede fase van GDD komt tot een [Launch Pad Website](https://www.brightdigital.com/nl/blog/growth-driven-design-stap-2-launch-pad-website). In dit artikel beschrijf ik hoe de derde en laatste fase van GDD werkt: voortdurende verbetering oftewel: Continuous Improvement. ## Continuous Improvement Nadat je bent gekomen tot een minimaal aanvaardbare eerste versie van je website,  de zogenaamde Launch Pad Website, is het tijd om te gaan verbeteren. Bij GDD bestaat Iedere verbeterslag bestaat uit 5 stappen: **1. Plan** In deze stap ga je terug naar je wensenlijst en kies je een actie-item met een hoge prioriteit. Voor dit actie-item stel je een hypothese op, bijvoorbeeld: “als we op [pagina x] [actie item 1] veranderen in [actie item 2] met [persona y] in het achterhoofd, zal [kpi z] verbeteren met [n %].” ** 2. Build** In deze stap zorg je ervoor dat je het geplande actie-item daadwerkelijk realiseert op je website. Zorg hierbij voor een goede taakverdeling en planning, zodat je zo snel mogelijk naar de volgende stap kunt. ** 3. Learn** Voor het uitvoeren van deze stap is geduld nodig. Het is immers wachten geblazen totdat je voldoende resultaten hebt verzameld om je hypothese te bevestigen of te ontkrachten. ** 4. Transfer** Nadat bovenstaande stappen zijn uitgevoerd en de resultaten bekend zijn, is het belangrijk dat je de bevindingen en de onderliggende conclusies presenteert aan de belanghebbenden binnen je organisatie. Een goede onderbouwing is belangrijk om aan te tonen, waarom de gevraagde actie-items wel of niet werken. Nadat je deze cyclus hebt afgelegd, is het zaak om naar het volgende actie-item te gaan. ## Growth Driven Design Hierarchy In Growth Driven Design worden actie-items opgesteld die te verdelen zijn in de volgende onderdelen met de daarbij behorende doelen, in deze volgorde: **Audience**: het bewerkstelligen van een consistente en voorspelbare stroom van nieuwe bezoekers. **Value**: alle belangrijke items op de website moeten een pijnpunt van een persona oplossen. **Usability**: de website moet intuitief zijn en makkelijk te begrijpen voor iedere gebruiker. **Conversion Rate Optimization**: verwijder alle frictiepunten tussen de eerste en laatste stap van een conversiefunnel. **Stickiness**: zorg ervoor dat bezoekers vaker terugkomen, ook om andere problemen op te lossen. **Personalization**: zorg ervoor dat gebruikers-ervaringen afgestemd zijn op de wensen van de individuele gebruiker **Assets**: stel gratis assets ter beschikking op je website die zo waardevol zijn, dat je bezoekers ervoor zouden willen betalen. **Promoters**: zorg ervoor content op een organische manier gedeeld gaat worden. Met behulp van bovenstaande stappen in de verschillende deelgebieden, zul je ervoor zorgen dat je website steeds beter aansluit op de verwachtingen van je bezoekers en dus gaandeweg meer rendement voor je zal opleveren.
