HubSpot is constantly evolving, with major and minor updates daily to improve the platform. These innovations are based on valuable customer feedback and make your user experience even easier and better. Every month, Bright keeps you updated on the latest HubSpot updates. Here are June's most important updates!
Update 1 (Featured): Creating AI content based on your CRM lists
With the new list-based remixing feature, you let HubSpot AI generate personalized content based on your contact lists. Ideal for those working with segmentation or account-based marketing.
Say you have a list of healthcare MQLs, or customers who have requested a demo in the past year. You provide a short description (e.g. "industry decision makers, interested in automation"), choose the content type (think an email, landing page, social post or blog) and HubSpot does the rest!
Also handy: use Remix templates for recurring campaigns, so you can have standard types generated all at once. You can find it via CRM > Lists > Remix
(Available as a private beta from Content Pro).
Update 2: Advertise better with Meta? Sync your lifecycle placements with Facebook now
From now on, you can automatically sync your lifecycle stages from HubSpot with the Facebook Conversions API. That way, Meta knows exactly what stage your contacts are in and you can target smarter.
Example: do you only want to show ads to MQLs or do you prefer to reactivate dormant SQLs? Then let Facebook know automatically when someone changes their lifecycle stage, making your ads more relevant and cheaper. You set it up via Marketing > Ads > Create Event > Lifecycle stage change. See step-by-step how this works in the HubSpot Knowledge Base.
(Available from Marketing Hub Pro)
Update 3: Manually scoring deals and companies in the Sales Hub
From now on, you can manually score deals and companies in Sales Hub via the Lead Scoring app. This allows you and your team to decide which properties, interactions and signals count to prioritize opportunities.
Example 1: give extra points to companies in the manufacturing industry with > €10 million in sales and an engagement score above 70%.
Example 2: deduct points for deals without an engaged contact or with too little activity in the past 30 days.
This way of scoring gives your sales and marketing teams one unified logic for evaluating leads, deals and companies. Go to Marketing > Lead Scoring and set up your own scoring model in a few clicks.
(Available from Sales Hub Pro)
Update 4: Contact-level visibility into event participation via registrant cards
Want to know if a contact signed up, showed up or visited your events more than once? From now on you can see all event information directly in the contact record via the new registrant card.
This update gives you at-a-glance insight into:
✔️ Participation in webinars and (offline) events
✔️ Registration and attendance status
✔️ Interactions with events from tools such as Zoom, Eventbrite, GoToWebinar or Microsoft Teams
Manually created events are also supported.
Example: you view an MQL in the CRM and immediately see that the person has attended three events, including your latest product demo. Perfect for personal follow-up.
You can find the card on the right side in the contact record.
(Available to all users of the Marketing Events object)
(Available from Sales Hub Pro)
Update 5: Segmenting smarter with AI Lookalike Lists in HubSpot
Why search yourself when AI can do it better and faster? With the new AI Lookalike Lists, you let Breeze automatically generate lists of contacts that closely resemble your best customers.
Suppose you have a list of your most loyal customers (who have repeat purchases, high LTV, strong engagement). With one click, HubSpot creates a new list of contacts to that that have similar characteristics. Perfect for campaigns, retargeting or feeding your sales pipeline.
You determine the size of the target group, exclude existing customers and gain insight into the degree of similarity.
(Available in Marketing Enterprise and Marketing+ Enterprise)
Update 6: CRM records can now be duplicated with one click
With the new record cloning feature, you can now effortlessly duplicate existing CRM records in HubSpot. Ideal for recurring processes where you need to enter the same info over and over again.
Whether you're working with deals, companies, tickets or custom objects: via the Actions > Clone option you can quickly create a copy of the original record, including pre-filled properties and associations from the creation form.
Example: create a new ticket for a repeating service request from the same customer in one click without having to manually retype it.
You retain control because you can still make adjustments before duplicating and everything remains traceable via the audit log. In our video, Teun explains how this works.
