An automated Recruitee integration for streamlined job postings

About our client
Dirkzwager is one of the larger legal firms in the Netherlands, with lawyers, notaries and tax specialists under one roof. Based in Arnhem, over 300 professionals work on legal and tax issues for national and international clients. They combine in-depth expertise with sector-specific knowledge and continuously invest in quality, innovation and cooperation. Dirkzwager uses HubSpot for their marketing activities and website management and also wanted to take their recruitment process to the next level.
The challenge
Connect Recruitee to hubspot
For managing vacancies and applications, Dirkzwager uses the ATS Recruitee. Although Recruitee is very user-friendly, manually transferring vacancies to HubSpot and the website involved extra work. Dirkzwager was looking for a solution to link Recruitee to HubSpot so that vacancies could be automatically managed and attractively presented on their website.
Our approach
A custom integration between recruitee and hubspot
We developed an automated integration that links Recruitee with HubSpot, tailored to Dirkzwager's needs. The solution periodically retrieves all vacancies from Recruitee and synchronizes them with HubSpot. New vacancies are automatically created, updates are made instantly, and expired vacancies automatically disappear from the website.
To solve the limitations of Recruitee's text fields, we added a smart segmentation layer. Using pre-agreed markers, the text is dynamically divided into sections. This way, job details appear neatly divided into the appropriate sections on the website, without recruiters having to do anything extra.
Candidates can apply directly through Dirkzwager's HubSpot website. Each job detail page has an integrated application form. Data from the form (including attachments such as resume, cover letter or other documents) are automatically forwarded to Recruitee. This way Dirkzwager keeps an overview of all applications in one central place, without additional manual work.
In addition, custom attributes such as job type, department and location are automatically linked to the HubDB in HubSpot. This way, vacancies can be dynamically filtered and displayed, depending on the visitor's search criteria.
